Resin Blocks (Center Median Blocks) Made from Recycled Plastic
Recycled Product Certification Awarded by Ibaraki Prefecture
Resin blocks (center median blocks) made from recycled plastic, one of NOK’s iron rubber traffic signs & safety devices (TSSDs), were awarded a recycled product certification by Ibaraki Prefecture in March 2019 based on the rules of the prefecture’s recycled product certification system. These blocks are also environmentally friendly, made from over 98% recycled materials, and have received a JIS Mark certification*. * JIS Mark Certification: JQ0610001 SP (JIS A 9401:2007)

Sponsorship of the Third National Ceremony for Mountain Day in Tottori
The National Ceremony for Mountain Day is held every year to raise public awareness of the purpose of Mountain Day, which is to “give people an opportunity to come close to mountains and appreciate the benefits of mountains.”
The third ceremony took place in Daisen, the birthplace of the Charter for Nature Conservation in Tottori Prefecture, where the NOK Tottori Plant is located. NOK sponsored the event in support of its aim and for community revitalization.
Sponsorship of the Nature Conservation Activities of Keidanren Nature Conservation Fund
The NOK Group develops, produces and sells products used for automobiles, machinery, electronic devices, and many other purposes. As a company consuming energy related to producing these products, we actively promote efforts to protect the environment. Keidanren Nature Conservation Fund provides a wide range of support, including natural resource management, environmental education, forestation, and rare species conservation. NOK sponsored the organization to show support for its aims.
